Saturday, April 1st, 2023 (8:00pm) – Luke Fitzpatrick: The Light Strikes

Luke Fitzpatrick presents an evening of newly commissioned works by composers Kerrith Livengood, Sam Krahn, Marcin Pączkowski and Luke Fitzpatrick that meld the violin/electronic aesthetic with an added vocal element. The concert will also feature my piece What Will Sound (was already sound) for violin and live electronics, first premiered (by Luke) in 2016 and presented here with a newly re-fashioned electronics layer.

The Harry Partch Festival begins this Friday, May 11th, and consists of three days of world premieres, rare works, scholarly presentations, and workshops.
